lots of positive chat about fans being allowed to watch games mid September. I think we should be working out how a maximum of 4k Dee fans could use all the stands in our ground. We should also be trying to sell online screening to Away supporters so that we get some revenue from them. 1000 fans on TV at £7 per view would give us £7k, the equivalent of 300 fans at £23 each and maybe over 500 fans if there was a mix of concessions and full price fans.

It will be totally unacceptable if social distancing will mean that by not including the Shankly for use by our ST Holders at least we can't get everyone of them at the game. We have got at least 10 weeks to work this out. all the seats are on a computer based allocation system and it just need some time spent on working out what to do. If we can use the social distancing methodology to demonstrate a safe allocation of seats then no Government can complain, imo i might even suggest that tickets should be on sale for Dee supporters who are not ST holders and encourage them to go to the Shankly,

Getting a swab stuck up yer snitch is a bit uncomfortable.
You obviously did not see the news report on the BBC news on Thursday evening where they showed a person getting the coronavirus test and he looked in obvious pain when the swab was removed from his nostril. The enclosed article states that people have suffered nose bleeds as a result of taking the full coronavirus test in a hospital.
You might change your tune if a coronavirus test at a hospital such as Kkngs Cross in Dundee becomes compulsory.

Yesterday I noticed that Livingston FC are charging £20 to view a home game online for matches that are not televised live on SKY.
At that price I would not bother.

My last word on this because you're just being ridiculous now.

A nosebleed is not necessarily painful, everyone has fragile blood vessels in their nasal cavity and nosebleeds happen, often without any pain, with the slightest interference. I suffered quite badly with nosebleeds as a ****ager and had my vessels cauterised - you know a rod shoved right up to the back of your nose to seal off the blood vessels - it was not even slightly painful so there is no way a soft swab put in the same place can cause 'severe pain'. Nosebleed? Yes. Severe pain? Just no.

If you're in 'severe pain' you normally get strong medication, do people really need Co-codamol or morphine to be able to tolerate this test or immediately after it? No, they get the test and get on with their lives.

If this was likely to be a painful procedure the minimum that would be offered is a numbing spray - why do you think this is not offered?

iSLAY, this is tremendous news, rather than criticise the price, which I have taken to be the object of your comment, I think we should be jumping up and down to find out how they are able to do that.

We have got to stir ourselves and find ways to generate income for the club from the matches themselves. I could see a high price being charged by Livi because they will still be interested in selling Season tickets. too low a price might encourage people to buy the online experience rather than go to the bother of turning up.

I don't think people have realised the danger of very reduced income for the Championship sides. We have to get on the case, and make sure that we explore every avenue to generate funds for our club. Selling online coverage, if it is possible for Livi, should be possible for DFC IMO.

Only 300 in the Derry is a wet dream for most respected.

Curious Islay on a scale of 1 to 10 how sair/painful/mildly discomforting.....was this test.

I put a cauld at 2, an Asthma attack at 5, tweaked ankle ligaments 1, displaced pupil 8, watching Randy Wolters 9.

Having had the swab test in April, I would say it was painful, not a lasting pain, more like a sharp pain, it felt like they were trying to push my eyeball out from the inside, but the pain was gone as soon as the swab was out, I’d say a moment of pain but not a lasting one

It was announced on Thursday that the SPFL had given permission to all Premier League clubs to televise their home games live and charge a fee to anyone wanting to watch it online. The only exception is that they cannot do this when their home games are televised live on SKY.
I suspect that the SPFL will give same permission to the remaining 30 clubs when their leagues start on 17th October with the only exception being if their home game is televised live on the BBC Scotland channel.
