    3. Yes finished 3rd with a slow start but you would expect any half competent manager to achieve that with his resources.
    4. The slow start is no excuse for abject failure at Wembley
    5. Ardleys focus was on what Harrogate would do not on how Notts would win the game
    6. Side looked disorganised and clueless to counter Harrogate therefore the preparation was wrong
    7. After the game Ardley said he did not have a go at the players. What a weak insipid attitude, they needed blasting I would have fined some of them for lack of effort.
    8. Senior professionals clearly took no notice of Ardleys preparation and thought all they had to do was turn up. Almost certainly due to lack of motivation, planning and leadership on Ardleys part and the knowledge that he would let poor performances pass without searching examination of why the player(s) failed
Because for NA lovers , he has done no wrong, it is always somebody else fault, eg previous managers, the chairman , the players, but never his

Of course he must take his share of the blame along with others but you don't have to be an NA lover (as you put it) to think changing managers 3 times a season is any good. Let's try for a bit of stability for a change.
I know that is alien to Notts and some supporters but it might just work.

What has the other 2 managers got to do with NA, when he becomes manager its down to him.
We were out the bottom 2 when he arrived, and he was heavily backed in the transfer window- still relegated us
This season, backed again by another chairman, failed to gain promotion?

The reasons for relegation, and the failure on sunday remain the same, NA negative tactics, of slow start, no plan when things go against him , poor defense. He just has no tactics against teams with a high press, and a busy midfield?

Wouldn't it be charming if the phrase 'in my opinion' was to make a comeback? How much more peaceful and amicable would this forum be for starters?

A new manager would be a good starting point "in my opinion".

Can you post about something other than getting rid of Ardley? You seem to have an obsession.

What we need is a full squad from day one, a proper pre season and an established pattern to our play that we couldnt develop last season until around Sept by which time we had played upwards of 8 league games. Our August league fixtures were our pre season games. Therefore whilst many on here are unable to be honest and say it, NA his backroom staff and the owners deserves our gratitude and support for a job well done to get to the playoff final. Instead we get disgraceful insults of management and players. Shame on those who continue with this negative campaign to undermine the club.

I guess its the same obssesion that some have got that NA has done no wrong, and he is the only manager that can take them forward, despite his obvious failure , despite being well backed by 2 different chairman

When i have i said he should be sacked at this time? On balance he probably deserves another season for his performance based on this season , but its borderline because he never learns, people talk of progress this season but for me there has been none. The same horrors that were on show sunday , were the same problems that relegated us in the first place. NA cant deal with high press, starts slow, and the defense crumbles when under pressure

Do you really think that will change next season, i doubt it very much it will be more of the same , but there is allways hope he will

    Sorry, you haven't.

In fact, on the other thread, before Sunday, you posted that you are 100% behind him!
