I have no wish to engage with you on any level. I will answer this post though.

Please don't insult me and suggest, to anyone I don't believe that racism exists. Of course it does and in it'd truest form, it needs stamping out. The issue I have, particularly with certain elements, is that anything posted that has a hint of bigotry (for Raging) get's jumped on. As I posted earlier, is it impossible to sympathize with a parent who has learned their offspring has been ***ually abused, coming out with racist comments? I'd rather learn what they really think and listen to them. Can we not understand hatred of US people, by people in the Middle East? A lot of people are defined by their experiences and upbringing.

Life might be a bed of roses for you guys and you you might well be living in harmony with people from many cultures. Personally, in the main, I have never encountered any problems from people from another race or culture. I've heard some stories first hand but that's the case with plenty of working class white people too.

To suggest there are not any problems with immigration and integration or that every person who utters or posts something that can be construed as PC incorrect or mildly racist, is a far right supporter or Nazi, I find unacceptable.

Personally I'm sick of the hearing about BLM. To be honest I'm pretty sick of reading about womens footy. It doesn't mean I hate women or hate Black people. Yet for some reason if anyone steps out of line they are condemned. I've been a victim of it on here.

You know what? During my life, I've laughed at Irish Jokes, Scottish Jokes, Dumb Blonde Joes, Spastic Jokes, Pakistani Jokes and the rest of them. During that time I've probably insulted people because they are fat, ginger, spotty, short and dare I say it black. When I've done so, I've done it to their face and got as good back. I get it, the likes of Raging and John2 would never do such a thing. Most of the rest of you just won't admit you have. I went to Millmoor and watched John Barnes play for Watford. More than 2 or 3 fans were coming out with racist filth in those days. In fact nearer 90% of the people did. What about the sweet 'you're a town full of Pakis' on every visit to Bradford. Society has made great strides and continues to do so.

Have I ever tried to smash someone's face or dare I say , put them in a wheelchair because of someone's race, no I haven't.

Think what you like and distort what you like. I really don't give a shyte but a few on here need to get off their holier than thou pedestals. To resort to my customary name calling and insults. You're are just sad W.A.N.K.E.R.S and in many cases full weight hypocrites.

Good post, much of it well written and I can agree with (apart from the abuse of me but I have thick skin!). I think the main point that gets completely blown out of proportion on here is suggestions that am argument against immigration is immediately met with accusations of racism. It simply doesn't. Some, including yourself express your reservations well and I have no problem with them. Others seem to "make **** up" and surely we can agree that they are aggressively promoting their own political anti immigration personal viewpoint, whether you call it politics or core values?

I would love my footy club's message board to only be about football, and if ot posts must be discussed, all of them contained well thought through and justified, evidenced based views that we can learn from. The big problem here is that challenging views and observations that are presented as fact is misconstrued as calling people racist or blindly supporting mass immigration. It really is not.
