As far as I can see Jules with this one, Bill had stated as fact that ESR had been on this Board a lot longer than him whereas Bill has been on this Board six years longer. A straight correction of fact not requiring much homework research as it is in the top right hand corner of every post.
If you are referring to the "Exile" on BBS I'm not sure if it is the same person as it is a commonly used name for fans of a club now living a long distance away.
Bill, being the fair minded and respectful person that he is, will probably admit and appreciate he got that wrong. In Post 19 Bill commented that posters on here "do not admit they're wrong" but Bill will step up to the plate.
