    Poor Bournemouth

Heading for League One at a rate of knots, just announced Graham Jones as assistant to the new manager.

Looks to me like clubs are now taking the cheaper option of internal upgrades. You have both Bournemouth and Bristol city have both gone for there 1st team coach. There will now be more managers not in work who are now going to be priced out of jobs due to Covid.Cannot blame clubs for doing this in these trying times.

I've always had a soft spot for Bournemouth since spending a few years living in the area. I was disappointed that the club didnt do more to keep Howe in the job. I could easily have seen them bounce back with him still at the helm. But Tindall and Jones for me are very poor replacements and agree Brf I can only see them bottom 3 or treading water at the very least this season

BTW I'd take Eddie Howe as the next WBA manager like a shot, no hesitation whatsoever, but Bilić will do for now.

Don’t think Eddie Howe will ever be remembered as a great manager. Left the south coast once for 10 months and couldn’t hack it sighting personal reasons. Would never be my choice because I don’t believe he can survive north of Bournemouth. Hope he proves me wrong because I like him.

Read somewhere it was his wife who couldn't settle when he was at Burnley. Getting back to Bournemouth, whoever their new keeper and centre halves are going to be they better like passing it out from the back. Jones didn't learn his lesson with us and continued with his obsession of over playing it at Luton. Could prove very interesting if his influence is as strong as it was here, especially with a newly relegated squad who've got used to conceding and losing.
