Well one side is telling porkies that's for sure .

What's revealing is that the Cryne family were indeed prepared to sell them Oakwell holdings giving Chien and the gang a 50% stake in Oakwell and the surrounding land .

According to them they have even accepted deferred payments on the installments to purchase the club and still haven't received payment .

This isn't going to end well is it for us .

I will state at the outset I do not trust Chien and his mob and have always been wary of their motives for buying the club. The chancers saw an opportunity to buy a debt free club for £8 miilion and, as they said on acquiring the club, "We can't believe it".

I took an interest in the goings on at OGC Nice and was derided by some for doing so. I saw the Nice fans up in arms at the bitter struggle between long standing owner Rivere who was given 20% stake and the Chien / Paul Consortium. Chien sold off the best players at the club and accumulated a transfer surplus of £41 million over two years. He then sold the club he had bought for £20/30 million for a reported £90/100 million.

I always thought Chien didn't buy the club outright with his own money. It now emerges he bought Barnsley FC on a HP basis and has failed to keep up with the instalment payments. At the same time he was splashing money on buying other clubs. Apparently £2.75 million in failed scheduled payments for the £8 million cost of buying the club are still owed to the Crynes. It's just the same as failing to pay your HP instalments for buying a car. Chien sought a reduction in the payments because the so called billionaire who was buying other clubs couldn't afford the payments. Dun't mek me laugh. Apparently Chien hasn't paid the rent for using Oakwell for a while as well.

Both sides have now said their piece. The so called it's "Us" Chien and the fans protecting Barnsley FC against the evil Crynes is now unravelling. As i said yesterday, don't be pillaked by the "Official Statement" on the Website.

I know who I believe and it's not Paul and Chien.

Who knows where the truth lies .

Both parties have shady historic business pasts to be fair .

This was always likely not to end well , family local owner with 20% working with foreign investors with a collective 80% .

Flawed from the outset in my opinion .

Don't forget the awkward fact that Cryne was not found guilty for these" iSoft offences". Often forgotten fact.

I agree it is not a good thing that there are divisions in our ownership.

Why is it that wherever Paul goes there is legal action down the line ?

I think that this will end up a similiar situation to Charlton. If you buy a club, and agree to sell and buy assets during the sale, then you should sell, and you should buy.
If you don’t pay up, then you can’t expect to get your goods.

For us as fans, it’s just another twist in what we already knew was a very unfathomable, uncommunicative ownership.

Wonder if he will be buying more clubs when this comes out?

With respect SB , Cryne wasn't found not guilty by a jury .

The case was dismissed when the prosecution lost key evidence .

You could also say , when the Cryne's sell up there's also legal action .

Best let the courts decide if you ask me because I'm definitely not taking sides .

Did they "lose" key evidence Animal or was it that they couldn't find enough evidence to prove the case ?
I am proudly taking sides and it's not with these chancers. If I'm proved wrong and it is Chien who is the one safeguarding our club rather than his own interests I will put my hands up and say I was wrong.
