I am proudly taking sides and it's not with these chancers. If I'm proved wrong and it is Chien who is the one safeguarding our club rather than his own interests I will put my hands up and say I was wrong.
There were two trials SB , the first one ended with a hung jury and so a second trial was ordered .

Mr Cryne actually never attended court due to ill health .

The link explains why the second trial collapsed far better than I could .

I've read the link Animal. Still doesn't show any proof and hides behind vague statements. I guess we will always agree to differ on this. Until a person is proved guilty by a Court i cannot follow the line that he must be guilty.

I agree SB , all I'm pointing out is that there's a cloud that hangs over the Cryne family too in the respect of sales of businesses .

The present owners are full of shyte too as we know .

Both statements are heavily biased towards their own version of events .

My view is that because of history , both the two parties could be classed as untrustworthy in my opinion and it's best left to the courts to decide who is telling the truth .

    Fair enough.
It'll be a good many months of legal evidence, some hidden in inaccessible Hong Kong accounts, before a decision is arrived at. Chien could have legged it by then.

The biggest issue is where this leaves the club , whilst these two are fighting it out we've some championship football games to win .

Does all this unpleasantness affect the budget going in to the new season perhaps .

You want to see the club on the back pages of newspapers not the inside on page 2 .

Agree. This is pretty much a catastrophe for the club in my eyes. Minority shareholders at loggerheads with the majority shareholders because they say agreements haven't been honoured. Communications and trust have obviously reached an all time low for court proceedings to begin. Something will have to give. What happens on the pitch is secondary.

Deja vu. Money people doing what money people do. The Manager, Coaching staff and players should just get on with their jobs and leave the financial shenanigans to Lawyers etc. At a very simplistic level I'd be inclined to back a local family who's connection to the club goes back years as against " chancers", but at Bramall Lane the local boy turned out to have been a wrong un all along, held the club back years, and the courts sided with the new kids on the block

Exactly Wardy which is why I'm not taking sides and let the courts decide who is telling the truth .

When it comes to money , not everything is always what it seems .
