But in spite of all the failings [of which there are many] can you point to any comments/critcisms from the ones who you purport to have the interests of BFC truly at heart namely the Crynes, but as soon as money is publicly on the agenda they're on it
In fact is this not the first time we've heard a peep[ of any importance] from them
Now that should tell us something
Just as an aside how much did PC pay for the club?
I'm sure if someone had failed to keep the agreed schedule of payments for buying something you owned Ziles you would be "on it". It is not the role of a minority shareholder to make statements on behalf of the "Club", as Dane defines it in his Official Statement. What statements do Hung and Parveen make as minority shareholders ?
As I recall when Barnsley went into administration in 2003/4, despite a lot of hot air, no one was willing to buy Barnsley FC. It wasn't like when Chien rocked up when we were debt free and going cheap. I honestly can't remember what Cryne paid but he was immediately lumbered with paying off creditors which could be argued was part of the price. In the subsequent 14 years Cryne has bankrolled the club, some quietly, some as a loan eventually totalling £6 million of his own money, for which he was rightly paid back.
The idea that Cryne being paid £8 million for a club he had kept going for 14 years, and not receiving that money from these chancers, is not my notion of profiteering.
Please tell me Ziles what Cryne did pay but also add the amount he had to pay to creditors to get the club running again.

There would be nowt wrong with the Crynes giving their opinions on the way they see the club should be going
Hung & Parveen are not held in the "esteem" that you ascribe to the Crynes who love our club dearly & a lot of Crynes contribution was in the form of acting as guarantor for loans
When the club went into admin you know that creditors as usual would get the sh1t end of the stick [ see Wigan as a reference for example]
getting only a few bob in the pound unless of course PC paid them every penny they were owed
I also note that you are more than eager to accept £8 million & not the £20 million we were told at the time of the sale
In terms of what Cryne paid it's like most things football just like Trumps outpourings We'll never know

I accept the £8 million Ziles because that's what was said as the purchase price in the first sentence of Dane's Official Statement two or three days ago. The £20 mill was Press conjecture, never confirmed.

Don't forget that "football" creditors ie players wages owed and monies owed to other clubs had, as now, to be paid in full and were first in line. True the local sandwich shop supplying the player's meals could whistle.

So on this occasion you are prepared to accept the word of this man you have often derided [rightly so in my opinion]

I can't imagine Dane, as CEO, lying about such a factual matter in a written, public Official Statement on behalf of the Barnsley Football Club. I can imagine him pillakin and spinning things when asked questions.
