    Exam Results.

What a surprise.......more passes at higher grades than ever in a year where teachers have decided the grades of their own pupils.

Like having Dracula in charge of the blood bank.

These results are not worth the paper they are written on and should’ve had a margin of error in terms of an average markdown to account for favouritism.

One of the most irritating days of the year hearing the habitual “OMG” as yet another spotty youth opens their envelope before gushing their results to the BBC reporter.

Step out into the real world where the sharks and pirañas swim my little friends.......you’re in for a rude awakening.

Completely correct! Why would teachers risk downgrading pupils which effectively down grades the school in league tables. Bit like a restaurant being in charge of writing their own reviews on an independent review site!

Universities will be the winners - 12/14 grand per student - cram them in - lectures 2 hours a day three days a week if you are lucky. Universities full - yeah right!! Places will be found!

Its almost looked on as a given now isn't it. Bad results! How can this be? My Grandad was dying with Cancer when I nursed him during my exams and not only did I fail many I even didn't get to sit a few. Were there any concessions for me? No, I had to suck it up. Would have been nice if they had said. "Have some good A level results on us, you've had a bad year". I had to suck it up.
How can you be better off because there's a pandemic!?

My daughter works in a restaurant in a rather posh town south west of London. Two of the little dears came in to celebrate their top marks in GCSE. It came to splitting the bill - £19.50 and they couldn't work it out! She eventually had to tell them it was £9.75 each - what the f do they teach them? Totally unprepared for the real world.

Thanks for sharing boingy buddy. You should be proud of yourself and I’m sure your Grandad is also.

I have to say your daughter may have been a little slow off the mark there chap. She forgot to add an exorbitant service charge to the equation, they'd never have known the difference. Rip off? Nope, a valuable life lesson .
