Unfortunately. White has turned into a significant distraction.

As in the past we've become fixated and distracted on one player in a transfer window and end up failing on the overall plan/mission.

I sincerely hope that the back room is focusing on some of the other needs and that this is just a smokescreen for them to try to distract other teams while they get the business done.

It's obvious that Whites just a moving target and whatever we offer Brighton will demand more.

And funny how you run out of steam after two "issues" (Bielsa, and Harrison, both of which I have acknowledged (repeatedly) I was wrong about (unlike some on here who signally fail to do so when the error of their ways is evident). I could go back over all those where my suspicions before a player kicked a ball for us (not that many of Ortas trawl have ever done that) were proved correct, but the system won't allow so much text.

I've been watching your close season negativity since well before Cellino took over - and nothing ever changes - always a downer, always an "I told you so" always you know better than anyone else on here - or indeed better than the the movers and shakers at ER - who, in case it hasn't registered just got the best manager available for three seasons running, got us playing better football than any of us have seen at ER in over a decade, oh, and got us promoted with 10 points and two games to spare, BUT HEY Ho, don't be letting success cloud your negativity FFS!

So why not button it for a fecking change and wait until results indicate that your right or wrong? suppose it's really easy to moan about everything and when some comes to pass get on here telling us all how right you where.

bielsa is capable of identifying the players we need, Orta is capable of getting them in, Bielsa is capable of getting the best out of mediocre players, as I am certain we will see this season.

Well if the club knew White was all class why the f didn't they buy him on the cheap instead of f n loaning. Would have been good business on the cheap now we build him up and can't afford him. And on Pontus who expected him to be gone or wanted him to be? He was all class for us and gave it his all like Berardi but 100 percent classier. Yes, his antics and mouth were something but no one can say he didn't give it all.
