So...starting 11...
People seem to be going for this 4-2-3-1 at the minute, not sure why seeing as Ardley has never used it, so I’m going for a 4-3-3!
.....................Slocombe......
Brindley..Rawlinson..Lacey..Mccory
Reeves.........Doyle.........Rodrigues
Roberts.......Wootton.......Enzio
Or, in a 4-2-3-1....
...................Slocombe.......
Brindley..Rawlinson....Lacey....Mccory
................Reeves.....Doyle......
.......Roberts.....Sloth........Rodrigues...
......................Wootton....
Only concern is a lack of fire power up front really but we have some strength in depth now for other positions.
I hope that's the case!
On paper, this one rings alarm bells. The lad gets several international appearances for a good European national side in his early years but then his career drifts so much that Motherwell release him without barely an appearance to his name, and with 'Well fans on social media saying stuff like this:

The name of the league might be Scottish Premier, but the standard outside of Celtic and Rangers is little better than League Two/Conference level these days, as illustrated by Kristian Dennis signing for St Mirren, so if Sloth was considered a passenger at Motherwell then you have to wonder how this will pan out?
I think it's fair comment based on the evidence to say something has gone badly wrong with this lad's career, and if it's his attitude then you hope he's looked in the mirror and knows it's got to change big time.
Like you say, Last Chance Saloon - time to roll your sleeves up, Casper. One thing I'll guarantee - Notts fans will give a chance to any player who puts in 100% effort, so start from there and the rest will follow.

It’s signing players like this that I’m glad we have Doyle and JOB.
I can’t see them allowing anyone to have an inflated ego. And making a huge assumption it sounds like that has been this guys stumbling block.
Let’s hope we get this guy playing to his potential.
Motherwell manager's parting words on Sloth: https://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2020/...es-motherwell/
“Sometimes in football, things don’t work out for any number of reasons,” manager Stephen Robinson said.
“But Casper has been professional throughout his time here and has continued to apply himself.
“His presence has also helped push on younger players in his position to excel. We wish him well for the future.”
Professional and applied himself - not something a manager usually says about a player with a fundamentally bad attitude. Makes you wonder what went wrong if he's got the ability.
