We took in the Abedi family as refugees and they repaid us with the Arena massacre. That should not be the yardstick of how we deal with refugees but it certainly can’t be ignored either.

That was a tragedy beyond mine and many other peoples imagination outwood. I have no idea how we can even begin to legislate for that kind of evil.

Radicalized Muslims are a serious threat to our very existence outwood and the far right bang that particular drum whenever they get the opportunity.

We are living in very dark times and we need serious, intelligent leadership and we have ended up with these clowns par excellence...

Me and a lot of other Labour Party members disowned this fraudulent charlatan a long time ago. In my opinion the man is a war criminal who took this nation and invaded another sovereign nation on a falsehood and a fraudster in the sense he pretended to be a socialist. Socialist my arse.
BT --you answered your own question.
As an ex-serviceman and with family ties to the Armed Forces continuously since 1914, through grandparents, uncles, cousins, parents, self, wife and a son, who has been serving for over 30 years, he proved himself to be exactly as you say as far as his being a war criminal.
However, I can pass no comment on his pretending to be a socialist except to say that I no longer know what constitutes 'being a socialist'. As leader of the Labour Party, his party were elected by Socialists in 1997 and had a majority of 179 seats. He was then re-elected twice more, by Socailists, in 2001 and 2005 and remained as PM until 2007, therefore, your claim that a lot of Labour Party members disowned him does not really ring true because when he invaded Iraq in 2003 he had a Parliamentary majority of 167 and he succeeded at the next election, held in 2005, with a majority of 66 seats.

When you join our Armed Forces, which these days is your own choice, you are aware that you can be asked to do whatever is necessary to protect the interests of your country and you do as you are bid. However, what Blair did was criminal and he has been feathering his nest ever since -----in true socialist fashion? Now you know why I dislike Blair immensely and everything which he stands for ----and he is still a socialist!
