I said they were raving like he was the second coming of a legend, it was tongue in cheek because they were all very positive about him, I'm not saying he was a legend, just that he was very well liked, no matter how short his time on the pitch for them was, clearly they appreciated his talents as a footballer as his ability was fairly obvious to most people that watched him. As I said previously it took a Liverpool fan I know about half an hour watching Notts for him to laugh and ask "who that guy bossing the midfield was" when he watched us on Sky, it's shame he wasted most of his career with behind the scenes stuff and it's a shame Trew sacked Moniz as quickly as he did because that team was the best Notts team to watch in the last 20 years after the 09/10 season (though there isn't much competition).
