Marley Watkins would be some signing but I’ll believe it when I see him with the scarf over his head in the RDS. I haven’t felt a buzz like this since we got Charlie Nicholas. Can you imagine it? Marley Watkins in an Aberdeen strip?
I often criticise McInnes but fair play to him if he pulls this off.

I don't think he was. I'm sure we tried to sign him before though.

Ach you can never have enough midfielders. They come in handy to play in defense or attack.
In fact If I were Joe, I'd be feeling mighty insecure about my place in the team now.

There has to be a wee irony that Niall McGinn has probably started 50 more matches as a centre forward than Watkins has.
