They will reap the benefits of keeping calm and carrying on.
That's why I brought the topic back. There was lots of comment that everything would blow up in the Swedes faces. So far they are better than us which is not what was predicted. We need to look at the reasons. I regret that I am coming to the conclusion that we are deliberately being guided through this virus using a strategy that is actually going to deliver a population that has no immunity to the virus, will suffer considerable distress if it comes back this winter and will create much public unrest. This possible chaos might suit some political parties but I find it very depressing to contemplate that any politician in Britain would think that so much econmic destruction was a price worth paying to deliver a political goal.

I think Stewart Leitch has done his job brilliantly but there needs to be an additional instruction given to him, namely how can we get back to work. what changes can be made to allow a return to work initially for all civil/public servants. I think that been the problem with much of what we, in the private sector have been asked to do. It's impossible to run a business profitably on for example, 1/3rd capacity.

Get Holyrood and Westminster full, with all politicians and the civil service working as normal. Let them demonstrate how it can be done.
