Well said Baggieal. That’s exactly my view too.
The only point i’m going to reiterate and what others have said, unless it is made law re masks then you spot fine those not wearing one. If it’s law, then nobody, including those from ethnic minority can complain. Fines should be imposed regardless.

You can't give fines to those not wearing masks if they have good reason i.e breathing difficulties ( will be on medical record ) as well as those who are autistic ( again will be on records ) as well as any other medical reason ie sensitive skin ( again on records ). I agree many others take the piss. Those who can't wear masks for medical reasons, I really feel for as I too have breathing difficulties now and it's awful.....

As mentioned masks are the tip of the iceberg. I would personally fine those ( around £3000 ) for gatherings of more than the permitted amount and those who refuse to self quarantine on entry to the country. £100 is pathetic so it should be £3000 which will seriously stop idiots.

Exactly al, you cannot fine those who declare a health exemption. But all I ever hear are those who call folk 'ignorant tw@ts' and others stating they would fine those with no exceptions when not wearing one. I don't go in for all this public shaming as I have had first hand experience to the damage that as done.

So long as the Equality act exists then no one can do anything. Those that take the p1ss and claim a health exemption when one probably doesn't exist and challenged by the public or the Police still cannot do jack to impose any fine whatsoever.
