Cannot see any point in keeping Brunt on, been a great player and a great servant for the Albion, but for the last two years he has hardly been used. We need to keep his high wages and squad place for a younger player. As for transfers can’t some of you see this is strange times , not many clubs have been buying we will buy when the time and the price is right. Why would any side go out and pay x amount for a player when you know in 4 weeks time you will purchase that same player for a lot less. I believe we will buy and buy well. Let’s wait and see instead of pant wetting and having a dig at the club.

My only hope is we pull a few last minute rabbits out of the hat like last season.....remember nothing much happened in first few months ..... then suddenly we landed Ajayi, Pereira, Diangana, Furlong, Krov and Austin. In fact the only early transfer was Zohore and what a waste he’s been.

So keep the faith.....maybe we will do the same this year.

I don't recall anybody saying to keep Brunt on as he needed to be moved on - high wage - but he's still better in my view than Townsend and Phillips who has consistently been shocking. That's the point!

Brentford gifted us promotion at the end because we were poor but we are much poorer with two of the best loan players going back and at least three others. Apart from midfield creativity, we need a decent keeper and a striker. Austin, Kanu and Zohore were poor in the championship so if anybody thinks they will score the goals to keep us up really needs to be sectioned under the mental health act.

One could be optimistic had our owner cared but he needs to f uck off quickly and sell up!

You are totally wrong on promotion we were the better side over 46 matches not just the last few. We did what we had to do get more points than the sides below us.you have no idea just like me what is going on behind the scenes regarding transfers. Nixon from the sun is touting a swap deal Robinson of Sheffield Utd for Burke. So we have no creativity in midfield with Sawyers, Livermore And PEREIRA. Yes we do need a striker and I think one at least will arrive. There is still 8 or 9 weeks of the transfer window so it’s early days to write us off . I do agree about the owner but you can only sell if someone is willing to buy so we will have to put up with him for now.

Sawyers has been absolutely crap and Livermore is inconsistent and it was both Krov and Grady who added the magic and creativity - sadly they have not come back or replaced!

I don’t read the Sun as it’s about as useful as Phillips or Kanu and to be honest - I hope Robinson does not come back as I thought he was poor! Compare Robinson to Gayle and there’s no comparison! Gayle did not miss many!

Yes it’s early but the facts are we are a much weaker squad than the one that almost fluffed promotion. If you are not worried about our keeper or a decent striker then you would not be worried jumping out of an aeroplane! We don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes but two things are clear - we are Albion and our owner is a complete waste of space!
