The weight I found for him is 11 stone. Not that much for some one who is 6 ft 2. Ekky who is an inch smaller is 12 and half stone and I doubt if anyone would call him over weight! Would a bean pole like Hirst take the weight off other players up front? He could play alongside Smith but he couldn't replace his role.

No, we need a big chunky bustly forward someone who dunt get knocked off the ball and brings others in to play. If he could score loads of goals that would be great but we would have to pay for that. Another Smudge would do or summat similar.

For someone 6f2 his best condition would be about 12 and a half stone basically hirst needs a stone of muscle

Think he played against Mansfield MT. He did ok. Certainly didnt look out of place. Trouble is Mattock looked a class above when he came on.
