See rA there was nothing to get all maudlin about! Seriously though I couldn't see how they could make a charge stick after DCFC claimed that the EFL had approved what was done.

After the verdict on Wed I was even more confident. On the valuation issue thats one man or womans opinion against another such is the nature of valuations.

Great news but we shouldn't count our chickens until after the fif**** appeal by the EFL!
They got the Wendies in the end so don't expect them to give up!

Yes Mac something to be wary about ,but can't see them changing much .The EFL have to appeal to save face ,they did it Brum but didn't get them anywhere .

Was I ‘maudlin’? Thought I was just p***ed off that they were taking so long and effectively hindering Cocu having a pre-season to be able to find replacements and build a better side.
    Anyway, now I’m happy...well I was...till I read mac’s warning! Thanks mate.

Miserable sod to the last ain't I. You can bet Gobson at Boro will be on their backs so we must expect anything from the gits and I'm sure they are scrutinising the loan to the nth degree. Hopefully, Mel ain't resting on his laurels just yet.

Not your fault. I just thought ‘charges dismissed’ meant...well...that the charges had been dismissed and were regarded as unfounded.
Maybe I’m being naive...I suspect the whole business has already done us damage and there must be a time when the likes of Gibson, the Barnsley bloke and the Mail etc have to be seen as acting maliciously.
Imagine MM won’t be unaware of that.

Leeds were charged for not acting in 'good faith' with spygate and fined £200k. As a result, it later became a specific offence.

If any clubs can be proven to have made unproven comments relating to Derby, other than making a complaint to the EFL, then Derby will be entitled to make a complaint about such comments.

Could you imagine Gobson and Co getting a £200k fines from the EFL?

I was referring to the woe is us comments pre the Owls sanction when you thought we may be relegated last season and then the wrist slashing after Weds 12pt deduction when you thought we might get relegated this season!

Gotta hope we get promoted this year it will take that long before its all sorted!

Still Mel's clearly not a BS merchant when it comes to business!

Failing that, MM’s legal team will see off any charge.

Beyond that...it’s a little difficult to be ‘glass half full’ if there is a 12 point deduction. This season for instance, we weren’t bad at all after Christmas and were in contention until four or five matches from the end of the season, and yet the removal of twelve points would have seen us finish just four points above the drop.
This comment you mean? The first paragraph, from Aug 1st, wasn’t so far wrong. The second I’ll concede was a little morose. Never mind, all done now.

I promise to try and stick with my ‘glass half full self’...at least where Derby are concerned...bit harder over other matters.
