Two times in my life when I have been genuinely frightened coming out of a football ground were both at White Hart Lane .

First time I went was in 1981 when we played Enfield at Spurs ground and in 1998 when were in the PL and drew them in the 4th round of the FA cup when I was much older .

The walk back to the coaches in 1981 was like nowt I'd ever seen before , hundreds of em surrounding us .

The walk back to Seven Sisters tube after the 98 game was bloody scary , they were clearly looking for us , something must have kicked off before the game because they were on a reight mission .

It didn't bloody end there either , we thought we'd cracked it when we got on the tube , until it stopped at the next station Finsbury Park and there were about 200 of their mob stood on the platform all looking through the windows .

Close them fecking doors mi thinks .

Just based on my own experience because I've not had any drama at Millwall at their ground at all .

Wembley weren't too pleasant but I can't say I was actually nerved too much by them .

More marth than owt and it's not like we were absolute angels ourselves that day which I think made em realise they'd picked on the wrong club to be trying to bully .
