I would say as it's last seasons competition they should be allowed but they have to play with last seasons team, they shouldn't be allowed to field players they have signed to play in the EFL

I hope the Harrogate fans are grateful.
Congratulations EP, where would we be without you?

As great as it would be to win this trophy, the more important issue is preparing for a promotion push. With that in mind I have no objection playing Harrogate in all of there glory, after all we tend to play teams from higher leagues in meaningless friendlies. If we win, great, we have a nice day out in another competitive game. If we lose, fine, where did it go wrong and work on that ready for our opening game of the league season.

I understand the 2019/20 FA Trophy & Vase semi-finals will take place between the 5th & 16th Sept.

Ties will now be decided over 1 leg, with the home team drawn at random.

I gather the FA will publish those details tomorrow.

Non-League Finals Day is planned for Sun 27th Sept.

We have 3 friendlies booked between 5th & 16th Sept.

"The 2019/20 FA Trophy & Vase semi-finals will take place between the 5th & 16th Sept."?????

Nice of the FA to be so specific. Why is it so difficult for them to simply give us a f**cking date?

With Harrogate already having games on the 5th and 12th (and potentially 15th or 16th if they win the EFL Cup tie on the 5th), that only leaves Sept. 8/9 free for our semifinal. Their fitness levels will be way better than ours, but we won’t have other distractions at that point so maybe those factors cancel each other out?

I assume the two teams in the other semifinal are more flexible than Harrogate and can play the tie on a Saturday.
