Think Strachan is a major asset. I would be pretty disappointed if you are wrong about the wage allegation. It is very vague. How much does a player earn? Might be between £750 and £1500 a week. Say between £38k and £75k a year.

I do not know the annual salary a Dundee Football Club first team player was paid last season.
I would have thought that Gordon Strachan had earned enough throughout football career plus media appearances to have donated his service for free to Dundee Football Club especially as it was previously reported that Gordon Strachan’s coaching ideas were being implemented at the Dundee Football Club Academy.

I just don't get the thinking that anyone, regardless of their financial situation, should be expected to work for nothing.

If had made a lot of money from my football career both as a player and as a football manager plus income from media duties I would have offered my services for free especially when I had been given free reign to put forward my own coaching ideas.
Gordon Strachan is a director of two separate football coaching companies,
Strive Academy Limited which was set up on 20th December 2018. https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/c...filing-history
The Strachan Foundation Community Interest Company which was set up on 16th July 2011. https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/c...history?page=1

Totally agree that nobody should be working for free.

A low salary and good rewards for success measured on, for example, his methods leading to youth players become first team players would be ok though. I don’t know what he’s being paid but if the numbers earlier in the thread are anywhere near then it’s too much at Dundee FC.

    Hi Deecom,
I am sorry but I do not know.
However I enclose the following information which might be of some help. https://www.estateagenttoday.co.uk/b...ion-on-pay-out
The decision is likely in September at the earliest. The losing side may well
    appeal to the Supreme Court.
If so it is likely that it will be near the end of 2020 before a final resolution is made.

Thanks Islay, reason I am asking, I spoke to an ex player, now a football agent and he said if Dundee fc receive a payout, they have players on hold on hold ready to sign for the club.
If as you say, it's September at the latest, that might be too late.
Not sure if the transfer deadline has been changed because of coved 19
