However it was telling that 35,000 demonstrators didn't even get a mention on the BBC website apart from a paragraph in the European section about a similar demonstration in Berlin.

The BBC anti disinformation correspondent is working overtime.

Predictably they demonised these demonstrators as fascists. Which of course they did picking out a right wing emblem on a flag.....ignoring the thousands of demonstrators who had no connection to the right at all.

In BBC land if a member of the BNP says the capital of England is London, Th BBC says the answer is wrong.

Some things remain facts, no matter who points them out.

The exaggeration of the coronavirus deaths are a fact.
    Isn't "anti-disinformation" a good thing?
Although disinformation appears to be your trademark so perhaps not, in your world.

    Absolutely unbelievable.

Read any book on East Germany and ask me again.

How objective do you think the BBC will be on this issue?

In fairness, IBS, a protest organised by Piers Corbyn with David Icke (of turquoise tracksuit fame) as keynote speaker was always going to struggle to be taken seriously.

I agree with him on man-made climate change, it's a socialist power grab, we've alway had climate change, the earth cools and heats and did so before there were any humans on the planet.

So misunderstanding the nature of the virus is 'manipulating the stats' ? It's a good job we have world virology experts like yourself looking after us IBS.

There are plenty of virologists and experts who share my views, that the statistics have been exaggerated.....they aren't not being given a fair crack on the mainstream media.

It's like the bull**** line "we follow the science".....as if science is a coherent, unified body of thought without disagreement.

Anyway CAM, there will be many many more stories of how unreliable the data and stats have been.

I've no doubt there will be from both sides of the argument. However there are two facts that are indisputable at the moment (1) This is something I could catch and (2) This is something that could kill me. There are far greater 'killers' in my world like cancer, heart disease, road traffic accidents...etc. but as far as I'm aware I can't 'catch' those.

Quite so. The logic of IBS seems to be that as many more people die in RTA's than by terrorist attack we ought not waste resources on combating the latter.

It's not my view at all.

    Just to clarify.

    There is a virus.
    It is a killer.

    Stats massively exaggerated
    Tests unreliable
    Death certs unreliable.

The scandal is in the accuracy of the figures not if there is a virus or not.

No problem at all if money proportionate to the risk of the seriousness of the disease is used in research into covid.

Are you making a pitch for the BBC specialist disinformation reporter's job Wendun?
