This thread is called a post match thread. In all honesty, even though we were the better team, we were pretty poor.

I am still confident that we can do well this season.
That’s the problem some can’t grasp about the title of the thread

I’m not sure where I’ve said opinions aren’t valid I just said some of the comments are embarrassing imo.

That’s what it is an opinion.

Only if the standard in the Championship is lower than last season. I suppose there is a chance of that due to clubs having less money now.

My laptop was struggling to load so used iPad very good picture quality tried to switch at half time for a bigger picture but quality was very poor not sure why as it’s an MacBook Pro. Switched back to iPad. I thought Sadlier showed the most promise.

I always say pick a side on merit. Blackman Harding Wood S McDonald none of our strikers should be playing at Wycombe. Olosunde then Thompson pecking order for right back. Still need a left back, Mattock? Midfielder, big forward needed for next Saturday playing 4-5-1

Not a great start but nothing unexpected in that as we always seem to start slow. On paper the team should be good enough to stay up this season so lets hope we do our usual and start coming good by match 4 with a couple of lucky results in the first 3.

Keeper looks rusty and will get better as will the forwards but we are seriously lacking a left back.

    UTM!

I agree with that,we must be first in for Barlaser, if NUFC allow him out on loan again.McDonald and Lindsay are nowhere near championship standard.Having said that we should have easily won this game.Hopefully we will have one or two additions this week before the Wycombe match.

Some board members throwing their toys out of the pram. Are they the same ones who were saying the same things at the beginning of last season?,and look what happened,we got promoted. Take a chill pill and give the manager and team time.

Still, as I said, early days - remember Rotherham 0-2 Lincoln early last season?
I don’t think he turned Rotherham down mate, I think it was just that Ronnie wasn’t prepared to pay Stocksbridge £10,000 for him and Halifax did 😢

    Ok I’ve calmed down now
Still Blackman didn’t have much to do but when he did he was rubbish in that game.
Harding looks like he could be a good player but shouldn’t be starting next game unless we have no choice
Smith/Ladapo didn’t seem to work in that game, smith making mistakes and Ladapo ball greedy at times
Mattock did ok but won’t be long before he’s injured playing like he did
We played better in first half where we should have been about 3 up, 2nd half was rubbish
Motm is an hard one here tbh, maybe Ogbene

I was thinking that wasn’t a championship side but I can’t really say that playing against a L2 side to which we played different formation to what we’ll possibly play in championship

On to Wycombe, think I’ll give it a miss though

    Come on millers

Oh.. Don’t think Vassell impressed Salford
