Totally agree. If women's football became popular enough to warrant it's own dedicated live match panel, I'd expect to see an all female ex-player line up.

This word diversity is getting me down. Apparently, this is the reason for the sacking of Thompson, Le Tissier and Nicholas. Too many middle aged, white men! I understand that Jeff Stelling is considering whether he will carry on or not. What are we coming to? These men have all been there, done it and know what they are talking about. Also, in my opinion, they were very entertaining. I honestly believe that Sky will regret this as I can see many viewers not continuing to watch. I, for one, cannot see myself watching. My maxim is 'If it 'ain't broke, don't fix it'. I don't have a problem with having ex black players but why sack those who have made the programme such a success. As for women, sorry but they haven't played the game at the same level and haven't had the experiences or the the insight into the men's game that these ex players have. You don't have men on 'Loose Women!'

Soccer am went down the same road nobody watches that now either
Commercial TV stations such as Sky will soon realise you need the best person for the job regardless of *** or ethnic origin. Anything else and they will loose viewers and advertising revenue.
It’s forcing things before their time. Things do change in time but you get the feeling that “someone” is sitting their looking for what is absent. There’s not enough women in politics or flying planes. If you got 50/50 it would then be but how many are black? Then.....but they are all “straight”, why don’t we have 50% gay? Yes but now we have 50% gay how many of them are disabled?
It’s NUTS. In time things change. Let it happen without all the contrivance. White middle aged must be the bottom of the pile now, and it’s an ever growing bottomless pile.
Last year the Chef James Martin appeared on Loose Women to promote a new TV show. The very first question they honed in was about his weight and this continued for a few minutes with much p*** taking. The show got criticised for it but I can only imagine that people would have been fired had it been an all male panel and they were all laying in to a female guest about her weight and looks but hey, as he's a white middle aged male that's OK.
