is it though? yes the work rate has increased and yes we look better compared to last season but we're up against better opposition now and the areas of concern have been glaringly obvious for sometime, even with Shanks back will much change as we're creating f uck all

We've made two signings. One who's been injured since day one. It's hardly a new look team. It's pretty much the same team that won the Championship last season. We had a great start, the 'new manager bounce' so to speak. Then the wheels spectacularly came off against a team who hadn't won in 8 games. With what we have, we will have played a blinder to finish above 10th. Let's hope as you say, it gets better (personnel wise).
Badly need at least a couple of decent signings , fingers crossed we get them , can't go rest of season with what we have or even till Christmas , finger out time for MM and TA
2 attempts to get the wrong players in my opinion, well ok maybe good players but the cost surely prohibitive from offset. Wasting time here and thats now a worry
Patience and perspective needed here.
Some of you lot want to give your heads a rattle, only 6 games in, almost a month til window closes and a run of winnable games when it does.
What's Brian Graham up to these days?
Patience is needed and do think people are panicking after a bad defeat, we will likely lose this weekend too
Then we have to make the most of the three months that follow to get pts on the board
This season was always going to be a challenge after we were hamstrung due to the legal case and upheaval of a new manager unexpectedly
I look at the table and it's not easy to see two teams that we'd definitely finish above, all are experienced at this level... some got carried away after the start, tenth would be a very good outcome for us
It's a challenge we should embrace though as a support, not very all worried by, it's something we've never had to do before as Utd fans, come into the top flight after being out of it for a few seasons and stay up (nineties was different, we were away one season, came back, started bad changed manager and signed kjell, erik, lars and sieb as there was no transfer window)
