The world is f u c k e d up........going down on one knee is about as much use as Morris Dancing naked with a tulip clenched between your a r s e cheeks.

    It does nothing.

There has always been racism, there will always be racism and I’ll bet the number of black racists is about the same in % terms as for white racists.

It’s sad but it’s never going to change.
Madness if clubs allow their players to take the knee in front of their own supporters. I would just walk out and never come back.

The Premier League and the EFL should be the ones to put a stop to the knee bending rubbish; they won’t, though, because they don’t have to guts to stand up to player power and the wretched PC brigade.

The silence on this innocent, young lad's death is deafening! Come on Albion, show the rest of the world what we are made of and have a minute's silence.

Quite right. If anyone is in any doubt what these BLM knuckleheads stand for, this is their spokesman in a recent Talk Talk interview with Mike Graham. And the EDL take the knee in the name of these idiots. https://youtu.be/2UoA2RHLlww

The BLM protest isn’t for us here in UK, America yes. But that doesn’t say we are free from the issues either. I agree with most have said on this thread and the tokenism gesture of those taking a knee.
If someone bullied you in school (for whatever reason) and the teacher never took action. You certainly won’t be protesting at the school assembly because you’ll be ridiculed even more. It’s the same with wearing t-shirt to kick racism out, how silly are they? If you are angered by bullying you don’t go and wear a t-shirt do you to stamp it out? it’s a joke.
Racism is not a football issue it’s a societal issue which governments need to handle not sports. But are we not wound up daily to hate each other?

Anyway, with all respect to the individual who died, why is there not just as much outcry on this board when an innocent non white dies (in similar circumstances)? I thought all lives mattered???? Ask yourself why you never had the same outcry for someone non-white. It’s plain hypocrisy.

Not me Regis - any innocent life taken regardless of the colour of skin is sad and horrifying. Some are making this Floyd out to be an Angel - whilst the death was tragic he was heavily into crime! There have been a number of black kids stabbed recently who were in the wrong place at the wrong time - just as horrific as the 23 year old lad in Birmingham.

The point is - all lives do matter - you can’t rewrite history and racism should be stamped out. In Football matches though the National Anthem should be played as it is in the States and taking the knee is now getting ridiculous. When supporters are back I can seen this taking the knee getting booed as it’s taking the BLM backwards and people are understandably getting annoyed!
