Say what you mean and mean what you say. If we say the price is 50 million then that is what we should insist West Ham offer if they want James Tarkowski. If we accept a lesser figure then when offers come in for Pope or McNeil we will get ripped off.

I believe West Ham have made a third bid of 30 million. This could be a McIlroy moment. If we sell Tarkowski at that price to a club I see as no more than relegation rivals I may never go on the Turf again.

If Tarkowski really does want to "better" himself, West Ham is not the "dream ticket" to achieve that.

With this Cabal of Conservative and Unionist Cabinet Minister Cretins running the show outwood, you may never go on the Turf again anyway.

You could well be right BT. If we are not allowed to sing and have to watch footballers take the knee and even worse give the arm salute I may never go back. Having to watch their grandad spontaneously combust would be too much of a burden to heap on my Claret loving granddaughters.

No, BT it is not because of these CCUCMC that it's all on its last legs ,and that you all may never go out again to see football at the Turf. The Capitalistic economic system is dying ,slowly slowly going going .......(and it's all happening before our own eyes !)

Maybe City have done us a favour, they paid £41 million for Ake, we simply can't accept less for a better player. Up to West Ham, do they want to pay the going rate, put up or shut up.

Tarkowski is 2 years older than Ake and has played a similar number of games in the PL, however, he also has made 15 International appearances for Holland agaiinst the 2 that Tarkowski has made foe England. Knowing the way that football finances go, I would imagine that Tarkowski could easily go for less money than was paid for Ake. Very sad.

Bournemouth are restructuring and need the money - we don't.

How do you know we don't need the money? They only tell you what they want you to know!
