A bit of premiership experience might not go amiss with all our young players. He had a good last season in Russia.

The big worry is that it might be a last payday hurrah for him like that tw#t Phelan we had.

Can’t get excited by this move - surely only a back up player

We let Brunt go at 35 because he’s too old and now sign a bloke soon to be 37!

I think he's a good signing, pretty much won everything in the game at club level. Can play anywhere across the back 4. Can improve our younger defenders. McCauley was turning in MOTM performances at 38/39. One year deal & no risk. I don't mind this one bit.

This is a decent signing it’s cover at little expense for our back four. He is fit up to speed and ready to play in emergencies. But as usual it doesn’t matter who we sign Some fans won’t like it.

I think he's a decent signing for us. Let's face it, with his experience he wouldn't be with us if he was a lot younger would he? He's got more top flight experience than the rest of the team put together and he played most of last seasons matches for the Russian champions so got to be worth a punt. I'd imagine that SB is looking to play him as often as he can given the look of our defence.

Let’s sign Phil Thompson, Excellent defender, only 66 but he has won pretty much everything in the game.
