Good. Let's hope we can come to some agreement with the EU. If and when the EU finally realise they are trading with and independent sovereign nation, maybe we will.

Oh dear! You want us to do a deal, but don't think we will (post 37).

    I agree with that.

Well yes. Of course I want us to do a deal, but on our terms not theirs.

Do I think that will happen?

ATM, it's not looking very likely.

In effect, leaving and trading on WTO terms is a 'deal', tho certainly not the best of deals. So 'no deal', is a bit of a red herring.

... some of you in the leftwaffe are so busy missing the point by focusing on how the Gov APPEARS to be behaving that you fail to acknowledge that we are simply clarifying our right to trade in a way that suits us; and never mind what the EU would like to think or interpret. They (Germany, France, hiding behind the EU veneer) have never done anything like that, have they. The other EU states never gave a damn/did what they were told; mostly because the krauts hold the purse strings. E 'Union' ... makes you larf...

If it's organ grinders rather than monkeys, then why would Cummings let Boris be involved?

Excellent blackhorse. If the EU ran a casino, and a big pot was to be won by the EU having to throw a double six, guess what, they would throw a double six by cheating. They cheat all the time, double deal, lie, manipulate, bully win by any means possible. Our fish are now being hoovered up.

How can you behave like criminals? These are supposed to be mature caring individuals, not like mad dogs fighting for every scrap, ignoring consequences.

And if it was me, there would be consequences. When we leave, and they want something from us, i would remind them of their behaviour during this time, and punish them for it.

For instance, if we sold oil to the world for a dollar, i would charge the French five. And when they scream why, my reply would be because your counts. And i wont be wrong. In this world, in reply to the previous comments about looking out for yourself, unless you do that first, you will be dead in five minutes.

With a bit of abuse thrown in, guess what, you get respected as well. Ask any dictator.

Now step two in education, you play fair with me, i play fair with you, and will even reward you for it. Simple really. But not for the psychos in the EU. Nazis never die.

APPEARS to be behaving? What the EU would like to think or interpret?

The Minister stood up and said we would be breaking international law.

That can only be interpreted one way, and it's not a case of what they APPEAR to be doing - it's what they are doing.

Or was he not telling the truth?
