3 minutes from coming away from Anfield with a point, having come back three f00king times from a goal down, and we come away with nothing because our new centre forward thinks it's his job to play centre back.

Why in f00ks name was he even in the box??

How do we counter (as is our way), when our "attacker" chooses to play defender?

agreed Oz, thought Souness was generous in his praise, bring on Fulham.

It wasnt, and it shouldnt, but it was. Neither Kich nor Rodrigo should have been played today. Neither have anything like the training ground experience required and you only have to look at the stellar performances from Harrison, Klich, Ayling, Dallas etc etc to see the difference being "Bielsified" makes. Neither contributed enough, both cost us a goal and therefore 3 points as opposed to the nothing we came away with.

We were like that last 2 seasons handed teams goals. The only way of improving is better quality defenders. Ayling Dallas so on is great in general play but poor at defending set-pieces. Even cooper most of the time is at all sea with them.

A quality CB is still needed in my opinion.

But he had no choice but to play Koch especially when Cooper couldn't play. Rod disappointed me one touch and gave the pen away but in fairness we should have won the game No pen and 2 poor defended goals. They didn't win it we gave it to them. Football is cruel

Don't know Stru is only young and apart the mistake of heading the ball back in play looked good. A proper left-back is a must who can also defend set-pieces. Dallas has improved out of sight and should be playing wing as he can also finish. Wasted playing left-back as got no idea how to defend set-pieces again great in general play but for positions they play need to be better. Aylioski is the same at left all at seas set pieces.

He did have a good game, the first penalty was unlucky (said that already), the second one not so much, but you have a forward playing as a defender and getting taken advantage of, shows both the lack of experience with teammates and tactics in both cases and the naivety of a player who hasn't played in the PL for a long time and who will get taken advantage of in tuture if he doesnt wise up in the second.

The rest of the game flowed, think he got most of the decisions on fouls right, we have had MUCH worse.

Not sure there was no choice. Bielsa played youngsters in other positions (and they showed merit (Meslier, Struijk (despite the back header blunder), etc). Others are there, and know the "system", and would have been less "at sea".
