I had tickets for Genesis in 1982, but sold them when the person I was going with 'left my life'.

Not sure how I feel about that now... It was the Abacab tour so I may have had a lucky escape. I certainly had one in respect of the person in question.

Seen hundreds of bands in the 80’s, not so much nowadays.
One that sticks in my mind is INXS before they were famous on their 1985 ‘What you need’ tour at Sheffield Octogon.
Must’ve only been 150 punters there, couple of years later they were selling out all over the World.

Saw this lad at Clumber Park and he was amazing and sounded just like he did on this video. To consider this video was shot in
1984 and I saw him in 2012 it was unbelievable the way he still hit all his high notes.

Brin - you see the problem now of dangling your titles? People don't actually answer the question you posed.

Amazing the bands that Herringthorpe attracted.
The gig was invaded by skinheads from Dee Dah looking for trouble afterwards and they got it. Thus, no more free concerts at Herringthorpe, what a shame.

None I've seen have sounded very different from their records.

Bands with weak singers like The Stone Roses and New Order sound very different live.

Not seen many live performances over the years and it’s something I regret now. I should have made more of an effort.
Did see the specials on Herringthorpe though.

Saw the Robert cray band at the limit. Went on a recommendation, i had never heard of him let alone any of his music, so no idea really of what to expect.
Wow, He was fantastic, best live show I’ve ever seen.

At the other end of the spectrum, The mighty Wah ( story of the blues fame! ) at the leadmill. Very poor performance.
