Here we go - in no particular order.

    Thin Lizzy
    Queen
Adam and the ants - early years - Dirk wears white sox etc.
    Tenpole Tudor
    Moterhead
    Toyah
    Original mirrors
    Hazel o'connor
    Def Leppard
    The Specials
Patti Labelle - ****ing AMAZING Singer
The Lambrettas - I was lucky enoughe to have spent time with Jez Bird (RIP JEZ) and Mark Ellis in my younger days.
    Eurythmics
    The Pole Cats
    Dean Parrish
    Flying Pickets
Marc Almond - ****ing Amazing Artist
The Human League - Hung about with them and -
Jilted John - Also known as " John Shuttleworth" Real name is Graham Fellows. Used to hang about with him and a few others from Sheffield bands.

I could go on but I would bore you to death.

Wouldn't bore me Big'un, some great stuff there. I too saw Lizzy a few times and I have Phil's belt from a City Hall gig, you wouldn't believe how tiny Phil's waist was.
PS for CA, Lizzy were even better live :-)

Elvis Presley in 1976 was the most disappointing but we all knew by then he was a spent force. Having said that his stage presence and the occasional moments when he really let rip were spell binding.

The Eagles were fantastic - especially the first time when Frey was still alive.

One of the most enjoyable - Johnny Mathis. What a performer!

The Police were very, very good. Polished but a lot of feeling. Andy Summers is a brilliant guitarist.

Sting and Paul Simon together at The Colosseum in LA didn’t work for me.

I could put another list longer than the one above. Live music is always great even if the band etc do not do it like it is recorded.

Indeed. I doubt that Keef has played the opening riff to Honky Tonk Women exactly the same for almost 60 years but it seems to go down well.

I'm not an expert on this topic but I was impressed with The Faces at Kennington Oval in 1971. Tim Hardin was much better live in my opinion. I saw Hot Chocolate at Lancaster University expecting nothing much but they were a revelation.

CAM, you’re right. The majority of replies have missed my O/P completely. Never mind, it’s great to see though how we’ve all seen different artists/bands and how music choice varies through us all. Thanks everyone for replying.
