Brought down to earth with a bang. Couldn't keep winning by the odd goal. With our defence not full strength it highlights how weak we still are going forward. Did we even manage a shot on target?

Taylor, Ojo and McGinn were awful. Quite rightly hooked at half-time, but by then the damage was done. We actually were unlucky with the goals conceded, none of them came from good/decent play, just horrendous defending from us.

Maybe our squad is not as strong as we all thought it was.

Should’ve just stick with the team from Thursday.

To be fair, you lose a penalty in 3 mins which could happen to anyone, you’re off to a terrible start. Joe Lewis disaster for the second. Lewis kicks the ball out for a corner when he could’ve cleared it leads to 3rd. Mainly bad luck and individual errors.

Look better with mccrorie in midfield rather than ojo. Ojo doesn’t deserve a place in the team - mcgeoch would’ve been a better option. Watkins is good but he never really looks like scoring. Edmondson is kinda similar. Wright and Hedges had little moments but not much happening going forward today. Ferguson has one of his poorer games for Aberdeen.

Totally agree, Ojo is an atrocious player. His first touch is generally to take the ball backwards and then lay it off. Looks neat enough but ultimately achieves nothing, especially when we need to attack, like today. Taylor too is poor and it was his barging into the opponent that lead to the phase of play that resulted in the penalty. He gave away other similar unnecessary fouls too. Sporting will be shaking in their boots!

That’s about the size of it. A ****e penalty to concede, a wholly uncharacteristic ****-up from Lewis, then his second ****-up conceding a crazy corner where Mugabi bullied McRorie, and Lewis possibly fumbled again.

Considine is pish unless someone good is playing in defence with him.

McCrorie is wasted in defence we need him in midfield.

Basically if we don’t replace McKenna and Hoban gets injured we will be fvcked.
