Oh FFS, are you wilfully stupid? Do you realise that a medical comes well after ‘speaking to another team’?

Though I do agree on the selection of Ojo.

Not a chance in hell that McInnes will have had any part of that decision making process. Cormack will have told McInnes that he is not playing and risking his hammy going again when there is £3Million at stake in the current financial environment.

There is nothing stupid about not letting one of your best players away to speak and have a medical with another team on a day your own team are playing an important match. I myself would have played McKenna but I wasn’t in the position to name the team that got horsed 0-3 at home by Motherwell. I have a strange feeling that I couldn’t have done any worse but that’s my opinion.

I (figuratively or literally?) dodged a bullet when a planned company move to Bulwell was called off in 1988, then.

I did rather look forward to days at Trent Bridge, and watching both of the city’s fitba teams, although obviously those delights would have been inferior to Keith’s fitba and cricket club (RIP) and the Dons.

Well what can you say about that complete shambles. I honestly didn’t see that coming.

I just watched it on Alba having been out all day so had avoided the score. Can’t give a fully informed view on the whole game as the delete function came into play straight after the third, but I sent the following to a mate earlier:

“Just watched the first half hour of that pish and binned it. What a fuuckin shambles.

Taylor and Ojo totally fuucked the balance of that team. McGinn an utter waster too. We lost all the good stuff we’ve displayed recently with those players and line up.

Lewis needs to sort himself out also”.

Anyone who thought we’d not miss McKenna got their answer today. If he’s away, we absolutely need a CH as Taylor is complete gash and McCrorie is totally wasted there. We have 2 RB’s in the books to its a worry DM sees the need to waste McCrorie’s talents back there.

3-0 at home to Motherwell is just unacceptable. Deary me.

We badly missed Hoban for his distribution & organising at the back. McCrorie for his strength and quick forward circulation of the ball in midfield & Kennedy for his pace and directness out wide.

The replacements were very poor man’s substitutes, totally threw the balance of the team, and are simply incapable of allowing the team to play the way we have been recently.

McInnes was right taking off the three he did at HT. If he wants the team to play the way we have been recently, those three simply do not have the capability to play in that type of team.

Just dreadful today, totally unforgivable so all we can hope is the lessons have been learned.

Have to say as well if we do end up getting £3m for McKenna when we were allegedly offered £6.5m a couple of years back, that’s pretty poor business from us.

Some of that money must go on a CH who has pace & is comfortable with the ball at his feet. An absolute must we replace him adequately as Devlin is not the answer & neither is that setup today.

Hope Sporting were watching. Might help us catch them out...

Never seen that coming at all, but i do think it is just a hic-up as with the exception of our opening day game we have been consistently playing some decent football, yesterday bad day at the office we all have them from time to time, Ojo is slightly different as he just is a bad day, full stop should be binned.
Cant blame DM for wanting to rest Hoban we all understand that one.
defending yesterday was horrendous, it will be better on Thursday with Hoban in the starting 11.
Bad day at the office, pick ourselves up, dust ourselves down of to Lisbon and have a fkn go as we are capable of doing.

Taylor was poor, he usually is, but only in comparison to McKenna who has never received enough credit among the supporters. 22 aerial challenges in the games against Livingston, Hibernian and Kilmarnock, according to Optima, and McKenna won them all.

And what did Considine do wrong today? Most of the problems came down the other flank and the only real Aberdeen chance of the game was from a Consi cross right onto Watkins’ head.
It’s obvious who was at fault for the goals but the first and 3rd goal were from set pieces and we looked all over the place defensively.

2 experienced defenders like those 2 should have been organising the team but they can’t.

I wasn’t trying to single them out, every one was poor I was merely pointing out if Hoban was playing I don’t think we would have conceded 3 goals.
