Yes but you'll need a decent level of technology to do that. Not impossible though, and preferable to going bankrupt obviously.

The NL needs to find a way to monetize BCD games (and it isn't that hard). Postponing is the same as cancelling, and that would be an asbolute disaster for NL clubs.

You can't just shut down a business for a year and expect things to carry on as normal later. What are the staff supposed to do? What about young, up-and-coming players like Roberts and Rodriguez - can they afford to sit out a season? No, so they'll be off, either on loan or permanently. And when the dust settles, how many clubs will be left with enough players to field a team?

Set up pay-as-you-watch streaming or let non-league football go to the wall. It's a pretty simple choice really.

Absolutely classic Notts to be this side of the trap door for this once-in-a-generation crisis.

It beggars belief that six months down the line since football finished in March for the National League that nothing appears to have been put in place or any contingency for a further delay or postponement of games this season for fans to watch games. I think we all anticipated and had the foresight that this season may have its issues.

Why nothing has been presented or considered such as streaming games and fans pay as they go or block pay or deals struck with the likes of BT or I follow is nonsensical.

Don’t these footballing decision makers or bodies not realise or care that clubs without income from fans can’t survive?

Something needs to be done and quickly to bring income into lower league and national league clubs. Pay and stream has surely got to be the way forwards as an option to get some income in. Especially even with lower capacities as well.

I'm a season ticket holder but I have no interest in watching games 'live' on TV or streaming and there will be others like me so that has to be taken into account in the economics of the situation.

It's interesting Notts have started the YouTube streaming in the manner they have. It's almost as if they are testing the water to see if it is something they can offer themselves, assuming there is no breach of the 3pm saturday broadcast restrictions etc. I could be way off target but if it was my club and I had the means to start streaming games myself I would do half a dozen games for free, get the tech working well, monitor the number of viewers and if it looks viable roll it out as a PPV service.

Problem I suppose is not every club would be in a position to survive this way and we'd potentially have very few games to watch!

But I'm in France, very, very rarely attend matches but would PPV. So you win some, you lose some but it must be better to have some fans paying ?

I would deffo by an S/T if matches were streamed. If sold on a 'support your club in difficult times' basis it might well do OK and be worth doing financially.

Me too. I might not always like the product on offer but if it was all about the product on offer I would not be a Notts fan.

Especially if the NL got it's act together Mapp and you got access to Notts matches home and away. Being a Pench, my S/T price is cheap but that would offset the price somewhat for those who pay full price.
