You should always question advice and encouragement from people who take great delight in seeing you fail, but there's always one or two who will fall for it.
Might be an idea though, should they lose again tonight, to sign up to the Fword forums, pose as a concerned supporter of another club who's always had a soft spot for Fword and urge them to stick with their manager and not to criticize him.
Aren't you displaying an intolerant and arrogant attitude with your 'caveman like insults'?
People are perfectly entitled to their opinions, and clearly not everybody shares yours. I think you must have a problem if you let opinions on a message board make you so angry.
To call people thick or 10 years old because they happen to disagree with you just smells like bullying. Maybe you should look in the mirror.
I can, and do, fully respect opposing opinions or views to my own but first I like to see some sound reasoning and perspective from the differing ideas before I take them seriously.
The drivel that you and your ilk spill over the keyboard is pretty much devoid of any sound logic, just the same knee jerk reactions every time something doesn’t immediately work or go our way.
If you, or anyone else, seriously thinks that we should sack the manager now, or that last season wasn’t a relative success, then it’s they who should take the long hard look in the mirror. I’m not even going to touch on the pant wetting response to the Harrogate defeat, that was nearly as embarrassing as suggesting Ardley should be sacked now.
That racist bigot accuses me of changing my mind over the course of last season. Yes, I backed Ardley at the start, wavered in the middle, but had the humility and intelligence to accept that he had started to turn things around and had transformed us into a team that seriously looked like we could catch the leaders before lockdown. When you’re presented with information that counters, and disproves your own beliefs you’d have to be pretty thick, or young, to continue supporting your previous stance.
Is Ardley a master tactician? No, but he has proven he can attract and build a squad of decent quality players who always leave everything out on the pitch, and that’s all we should ever ask of a team. In all likelihood Ardley won’t last another year or so, such is football, but for crying out loud let’s actually let him fail having had a fair crack of the whip first!
Giving managers time and patience will, in the long run, reap dividends, if only in the respect that prospective highly thought of managers will be more likely be attracted to a club with a history of patience and supportive owners and fans.
I’m pretty certain that me pointing out to you that you’ve taken what I said totally out of context, such is your clear inability to grasp such simple concepts. Maybe strike up a personal correspondence with some of the other goblins on here who can share in your (lack of ) reasoning and intelligence.
