The key works are in your sentence ‘ they should have beaten us out of sight ‘. Perhaps had Bilic not made two stupid subs we would have won!!

I am not sure the subs made much difference to be honest Al..... we were under the kosh for 80% of that match...... I actually thought HRK did OK as a nuisance factor.... but when you are playing a side that has invested £200m ____ on top of an already decent side.... then you need to ride your luck and ours ran out in the 93 minute.....

I am actually quite proud of the lads today... they all showed grit, determination and commitment..... what you can’t compensate for is that they were up against superior quality opposition....

I am with Barrera on this. Of course I am gutted at the result and that Chelsea weren't pulled up for fouls before two of their goals. But I certainly never expected this result. I don't think that anybody could honestly disagree. Chelsea really should have scored in the first half and we got a touch of fortune in that regard. Nevertheless our first half display was really good and the finishing excellent. Disappointed yes, but all the same I think this bodes well for the rest of the season. Albion have shown that they can compete here.

Fully agree. If you read my opening post on this thread I stated that 'I feared the worst'. This did not materialise and let's all be honest if we'd have been told that we would get a draw out of the game we'd have snapped their hands off.

Yes, but a draw after being 3 up is disappointing.
