    Dyche - the real problem

I can only conclude from our recent dealings in transfers or lack off , the constant blurb from Dyche and the slagging him off ( very craftily ) in the last two weeks that the board are now in an untenable position.

The man that has got us to the promised land got relegated got re promoted and has consistently kept us in the most competitive league in the world ( not always pretty football I know ) but nevertheless still competitive isn’t wanted at turf moor.
A fan’s favourite ( in most cases ) but the board are stuck between a rock and a hard place , we the season ticket holders-fans really angry now, how do they back Sean into a corner where the team fails and he’s responsible for it , they won’t want to pay him his contract up to get rid of him so they’re squeezing to see if he cracks and leaves, on top of that they’re supposedly negotiating the sale of our club to an American consortium , where Dyche could very easily be surplus to requirements if they do take control.

I’ve been a Burnley fan for 45 years and we’ve done some strange stuff but this lot really do take the biscuit.

Hitting the "Self-Destruct" button springs to my mind.

Something definitely wrong BT.I was lucky enough to meet Sean a year ago and offered to do some scouting here in Eastern Europe as I am semi-retired.I was told my details would be passed on to MR and he would contact me.Nothing happened.
Then around 3 weeks ago I was watching this lad run rings round the Malmö defence in a Europa League match:-

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wT0CQ6yUqQA

He looks like exactly what BFC need-a bit of flair and creativity up front. He is 27 years old, plays for the Hungarian national team and his contract runs out in February with his present club.By PL standards he would be cheap as chips.
So without further a due I forwarded some videos and info to the press officer who told me thanks and he would forward the details to MR and the recruitment squad. What happened after that-you guessed-nothing.
I would have thought that if we cannot compete with players costs in Western European then it would be a better option to find some talent where BFC can compete but alas nothing.

It does seem that the club is in some disarray. We appear to have a chairman in Mike Garlick, who only speaks out when the team are doing well. Then was have another director in Brenden Flood, who does not know when to keep his mouth shut, rather than commenting on the possibility of the team manager leaving while he is still under contract.
The team manager has appeared to criticise the board, and quite rightly so, for the lack of investment.
Quite possibly we have unhappy players who wanted to leave but failed to get their desired move.
All of this uncertainty looks to be showing in the team’s performance.
The gulf between the manager and the board needs to be resolved very quickly and if that means losing Sean Dyche, for the benefit of the club then so be it. But who could replace him and I do not see a ready made candidate for that role, suggestions of Mark Hughes or Sam Allerdyce fill me with dread.
If on the other hand the take over rumours are to become a reality then we could lose the current board of directors which may not be a bad thing for the club, especially if the take over brings in some much needed investment.

Did you not see the last clip.Seems good at heading to me.
Seriously though just what we need a bit of pace and someone who can open teams up.Seems like a team player also-not greedy.Ticks all the boxes.

I really think Dyche and Rigg have given up. What's the point?

Garlick is boosting the Under-23's in readiness for the Championship and that is where we are headed.

He looks very handy. I can't think of anyone in Romania who is at that level.

    Hi Bucharest Claret,

You could also scout in Romania!!!
We will get this together if the recruitment squad cannot be bothered.

You could both scout in Timbuctoo and I don't think our lot would take a blind bit of notice.
