Increasing this to £14 in the middle of a pandemic shows the aloofness and disconnect between the Premier League and the communities its clubs are supposed to represent, and how out of touch they are with the real lives of ordinary working class people. For you Mick it is a matter of choice but for many watching their team is the only bit of escapism they have, hiking the price by 50% come on mate that’s just appalling. I’m no lefty but when things like this happen Capitalist greed has a lot to be ashamed of.
Nobody forces anyone to pay to watch, we live in a free society.

Highlights packages are full of all the best action and are free.

There’s nothing to stop anyone avoiding the result then watching the highlights.

I refuse to pay the £14.95 and I’ve told my lad that I won’t do it.

I refuse to pay too so an illegal stream is always the best option and it costs nowt and two fingers up to Sky at the same time!

I thought that the powers that be had closed all the illegal streams off Al? I have a stick with Kodi on it but haven’t used it for ages as most of the sport and movies became unobtainable.

I won’t be giving Sky my money neither will I be giving it to BT.

The more I see of the Premier League the more I feel disconnected from it’s. Those running it have shown themselves to be some greedy self serving entity completely out of touch with what many in the country are going through.

I know 2 people who work for Premier League clubs. Both have said staff have been discarded without a thought and treated shoddily whilst playing staff have seen none of it.

I saw on the news Arsenal made redundant a bloke aged 68 who held several jobs there including the mascot and has been there 40 odd years. This was the same day they made a 45 million signing.

I think a lot of people will decide they can live without the Premier League as it continues to exploit both supporters, tv viewers and long serving staff. I’d rather give my money to local grass roots clubs so it doesn’t stress me one bit not paying £15 ransom money to watch my team.
