Here’s a question, would Craig Dawson be an automatic choice in our defence if he was still on our books? I think that he would be, he is better than Ajayi, Hegazi, Bartley and O’Shea; he also scored quite a few goals for us. I wish that Dawson, and Foster, was still with us.

Dawson was another of Dan Ashworths gems. He was a great competitor for us and delivered at both ends of the pitch. His forehead and Brunts delivery from corners kept Pulis in a job.

Don’t disagree but Foster is far far better than Johnstone and Dawson is still better than anyone in our defence!

Hi, i think with Foster , Albion we part of wanting him to go because of high wages.
Dawson done well for us and was put out when didn't get the Burnley move. I think also the team spirit had collapsed, due to the likes of Sturrage picking up £120k and the other one the Belgium winger forgot his name on £80 a week who was fit enough for the relegation fight but turned out in the euro's.
Dawson was one of the low earners on £25k a week.
