Whilst I do accept that some clubs may well be teetering on the brink (that's been the case for quite a while now), I think the key point from the Orient chairman's quotes are where he professes his support for Project Big Picture. No doubt his doomsday ticking clock of 5 to 6 weeks is intended to pressure other clubs into his way of thinking.

Yes you're probably right with that

Perhaps he thinks that payout money with bells attached is better than no money at all,

Should a big wedge of cash appear, then how would it be allocated?

    By league position?

By size of debt (penalising prudent clubs like ours)

or just the same amount to each club no matter current league or financial position?

It will be spread unfairly as usual.

Sumat like10 million to league 2. 75 million to league 1 and the rest to championship.
I wonder what the total dept is in the 3 leagues and how much short the 250m will be to wipe the slates

For me the likes of Weds, Derby and Reading would get feck all considering how they've all over spent and seem to have got away with it once again. If you put the table up for who's been the most prudent I'd guess we are way out on top. Does that mean % wise we'd get the most?
I think the rewards should be based on that.

Why don't the EFL look to use and force implementation of the way TS runs his club? Within spending parameters, youth development instead of bringing in overseas players etc. Keep the game British and not send the cash abroad.
