You don't seem to mention this magnanimous act much, keep your light under a bushel etc etc

Was it the one where we blitzed Buffalo 52-17 ?.
Wow, when I think back now at that squad. Troy Aikman at Qb, Emmit Smith at Rb, & Michael Irvin at Wr.
And even Barry Switzer won us the 3rd Superbowlas coach, after Johnson's surprise fall out with Jerry Jones!.

A “serviceable” QB doesn’t win you a Superbowl though - and as you say he is massively overpaid.

$27million a year for that is ridiculous.
Massively damaging to the salary cap too so a double whammy. The only saving grace is his deal is structured in a way that he can be cut this year, & every year from now on so thank fuuck for that.

It is fair to say that he started very well & has definitely suffered from the ACL he did a couple of years ago as he’s not been the same player since.

It’s also fair to say he’s made of balsa wood though. A franchise QB, as well as being talented, always plays - Wilson, Brady, Rodgers, Favre back in the day etc.

Jimmy G gets taken out by a stiff breeze - no use.

I’ll be amazed if he’s still our QB next season. If he is, we’re winning fuuck all.

All that said, the decision to trade Buckner looks more & more silly every week too...

Le’Veon Bell possibly back to Pittsburgh is a rumor going around madness. Not bad for him though $27m for season and a couple games.

Goes to show how good Peyton Manning was that on the back of one season he’s managed to get Adam Gase head coaching roles. Does anyone fancy having Gase as the offensive cordinator and Dan Quinn as the defensive cordinator

There’s a theory on Reddit that Gase is an undercover Patriots plant who goes to teams and rips them apart from the inside.

I’d like to see Bill answer that in one of his press conferences

Honestly not sure which game it was, a lot of SBs from that era kind of blend into one.

    Apart from 25 obvs...................
