Wasn't quite what I meant but I agree.

Very difficult to apply local sales taxes where there are significant variations in the retail provision. Do you collect it all together centrally and reallocate it on a per capita basis? If you keep the tax in the local authority area where it was collected what do you do about those local authorities who have low populations and as a result small retail outlets.Argyll and Bute springs to mind.

Time for indy ref 2 approaching, cannae wait.
Except it wasn’t 58% at all, it was a curious reporting of the poll.

It was 58% of those who said yes or no, the don’t knows were discarded and no numbers given for what they were. In each referendum they will be crucial.

Released when nikla was in trouble over Salmond revelations.

It wouldn’t be to divert the focus away from her....would it?

Whatever fund is paying pensions now. If you are gonna tell me there is no pension fund, well in any divorce the UK government would still have liabilities to Scotland, just as Scotland would have liabilities to the UK.

hunners 😂 may have exaggerated that a wee bit but it's true that record numbers of young people, those well into their 30s, are living at home. I don't think that's controversial to say, simply a product of ****e wages and ever-rising house prices.

£90k to buy a 3-bed house in St Marys now, ok if you can afford it, not so good if you can't. Probably get a house in Fintry easily enough, not like prices will have risen there, not quite the middle-class areas I was talking about.

The fact you don’t know that no pension fund exists sums up the independence movement.

A simple test should be taken and passed before people are allowed a vote.
