Surely you measure a Chief Exec's success by how much progress the club has made under their stewardship? Seeing as though we are now a none league club after his 6(?) Years, the jury is out for me. He may be doing a wonderful job, but on the face of it, we are worse off than when he arrived.

    Is that okay?

Did we have a discussion once about your religious beliefs? Is that where this stems from?
Not to my knowledge and it certainly doesn't stem from that. I wasn't really thinking about him and his role with the Danes, more how he kept the club going while Hardy was in control.

The most amusing thing on this thread is the fact you think that you "don't only post negative stuff" on NCM. Now that's got to raise a smile on anyone's face who's read your continuous stream of negative posts throughout the year. I thought Elite Pie lacked self awareness but this on a whole new level if you aren't trolling.

You quit going last season, you quit on the team with months still to play and before we hit a really good run of form, which was great timing for you seeing as you never post anything positive not even when the performance and results warrants it. Strange way to behave as a football fan but it takes all sorts I guess. Not one you want alongside you in the trenches or on the terraces

No agendas on NCM, nah never.

And here was me hoping we could go to the games with each other after all this was over. You've broken my heart.

Also, I wouldn't be in the trenches with you Laddo as I'm a pacifist. I wish the armed forces could be done away with altogether. I bet that annoys you too. Or were you using trenches as a metaphor for life's struggles? If so, you're wrong, you would love it by my side! I'm a right hoot! I could carry your little flask and your blanket.

Are you going to mention me throwing the towel in last season every week? it's not a problem, I know you have your little quirks, I'd just like to know.

As a guess I'd say you'll be on heavy rotation, along with Davy500, Elite, people who got pissed off watching the friendlies, people who have made their mind up their mind about Ardley, and, the lowest of the low - people who mention it on here when Dover get thrashed.

I too wish the armed forces could be done away with, but being realistic it is never going to happen.

Everybody has little quirks KC , yours is clear to everyone : Don't post when Notts win, only post when Notts lose. Put a negative spin on every post. What a supporter, never come across such dedication before.

Of course we could go to games together if you wanted and Covid wasn't a factor, but not for the whole season obviously . You would dip out early when the going gets tough and we go winless in 4 that's just Quitter McQuitter's raison d'etre.

I like The CEOs statement, I agree with it.not sure it's going to result in anything positive for Notts but does once again reinforce my view that off the field the club is being run well. Like a proper club should be, and long term that is essential.

That's twice you're mentioned it on one thread! And twice that you've mentioned i only post when we lose...

Did we play today?! No...Yet here I am...Oh dear...

It's a terrible thing when you start to repeat yourself. Happened to my grandparents. Don't worry though Uncle Laddo, we shall help you through it. Xx

For once something we agree on Laddo,

I agree with the CEO statement. The money is supposed to make up for lost gate revenue. If Notts,s gates are 5 times higher than Boreham Wood,s well we deserve 5 times as much compensation to cover this. I don,t really give a toss, whether Boreham wood like this or not

This is bad news for Notts County, all it does is level the playing field fiancially. Why should a smaller club benefit more than they usually do because of this ...

At the risk of being called negative, I see Maidenhead were today beaten by the might of Cray Valley Paper Mills in the FA Cup. Let that sink in for a minute.

And they were 2-0 up. I never would have guessed what “Cray Valley PM” stood for, so thanks for clearing that up.

Aldershot and Halifax both lost today, so we can presumably play one of them on Nov. 7 if we return to training on Nov. 2 as planned.
