I'm totally happy with the format for this competition and Brin does a great job of getting each week's event set up and then updating the table promptly.
What I think would be interesting to see once in a while would be the scores without the ten pointers for guessing the goals. As has always been the argument, the bonus points stop the competition from becoming dull. Without them, the week by week results/rankings tend to change glacially slowly with many players on the same score.
Given that predicting results is a bit more of a skill than guessing goals, a parallel 'match results only' score would be an interesting measure of ability. It would only need to be published a few times each season to see the changes (and compare with the rankings for the main event.)
Brin has enough to do without running this as well but if there is enough interest I wouldn't mind using the data that's published to create this table a few times in the season.
