    Some facts may assist.

in week ending 24 April there were 10,037 excess deaths and this was almost double (1.96 times higher) the expected number of deaths in this week.

3)The peak for deaths in the first wave occurred on 8th April...? Which figures are YOU using?
    1) Something on these lines 59, https://gbdeclaration.org/

    2) 'Insanity is endless' thread Post 361,"Deaths due to covid are beginning to rise, from well under 100 a day a few weeks ago to around 300 a day now"

The highest number of deaths in one day so far in England was 204 on 26th October, even adding in Scotland, Wales and Ireland the total hasn't got over even 260 in one day yet. Around 300 a day is FAKE NEWS, were did you get that figure from, whatever the source I wouldn't be trusting it again.

    3) 'Insanity is endless' thread post 274. "Lockdown started in the UK on 23rd March. The deaths reached their peak on 21st April (1166).
    "

I pointed out in Post 275 that you were wrong, that deaths actually peaked on 8th April,

"I don't know if you're just making those numbers up 59, or getting them from some lefty Fake News source. Here are the official government figures, (check them here for yourself https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/) which show quite clearly the number of deaths peaking on April 8th."

And if you look back at Post 287, I pointed out just why you had the date wrong, you were using the date death reported figures, instead of the actual date of death figures.

You wouldn't make a good liar 59, you need a good memory for that game, and you clearly haven't got one, you can't remember what you were saying just days ago.

I think the catchphrase is "Experimental Statistics" OC.

So if the person filling in the Death Certificate can be "persuaded" to insert COVID-19 as the cause of death these "Experimental Statistics" have no value whatsoever.

We can up the orange column and reduce the white column but the result is just the same.

This Cabal of Cabinet Minister Conservative and Unionist Cretins aided and abetted by their quisling sidekick Kier Starmer,

can lie all they want, but the morbidity rate remains at 10,000 lost souls per week.

    More Bollox Talk
Deaths in that week were double your 10000.
What is experimental, you imply the NHS or Government is able to exert pressure on doctors and registrars to forge death certificates. You have never tried to tell doctors what to do, I have and they won’t comply and you’d be told where to go and reported to the BMA their trade Union, the press, and local employer.
When someone dies relatives have 28 days to get the death certificate and registrars don’t open Sundays. So the statistics lag behind actual dates.
Think you mean mortality rate, morbidity is the impact of the disease on your life subsequently or long COVID and that’s not well documented.
Just ask Kate Garraway about that!

For all the good it will do instead of Lockdown we could have a scrumdown then collapse it and get penalised with a ruck to follow.

And I am good at this kind of stuff - ask Sinkov
Hmmm, the death rate from RIs in November and December always increases dramatically, and I doubt the Lockdown will do much to stop the inevitable annual rise, so it will go up, but 33,000 by the end of the year ? I make no comment, but I will revisit this post on January 1st.

I'll play Countdown with Carol Voderman and I'll bet a sizeable chunk that 500,000 souls will have passed in 2020 and NOT 1,000,000.

It's all that bloody Dom Cumming's fault. If that b@stard hadn't gone up to Durham to ensure care for his 4yo autistic son, thousands of lives could have been saved and it would all be done and dusted now. What a tw@t.

I would like them to publish the figures for those testing positive who have been away on holiday and travelling on planes etc. and who may not have quarantined on return if required to do so.
There are so many unknowns and perhaps Boris is correct in blaming the great British public because there is a distinct lack of common sense among the populus these days.
