Be it Preston won 3-0 tonight at Reading, ( Preston missed a penalty ), Preston visitors to the NYS on Saturday.
Our forwards need to get their shooting boots on, plus Warne has to play 2 upfront, even do a Do or Die approach away with 2 forwards, if we are destined to go down, lets go down fighting.Flooding midfield is not working.
Barker has a former forward needs to get his strikers on the training pitch, & coach the goal scoring into their system.
Barker is coaching them. It's a week long course, they start to turn on Monday and finish it on Friday.

Based on tonights performance we look like relegation fodder

Whether it’s Smith, Hirst, Ladapo or whoever is chosen they are still Billy No Mates, ploughing a lone furrow and expected to help out in midfield.

The issue isn’t with players it’s with the way they are set up, how they train and what’s expected from them from the management team.

No it’s a weak long course

Played well 1st half but still missing that cutting edge, passing well, pressing well - but absolutely NO end result nothing clinical ... And Blackman needs to know the basics of goalkeeping.. Does he know how to kick straight? How many times did he kick it out of play!? And Why does he waste time when we behind? Where's the urgency from him?

Personally I went off Warne with him leading the kneeling.

Good League 1 manager but out of his depth in the Championship.

Tactically he's a draughts player not a chess player.

Why do we bring everyone back to defend set pieces. It was Hirst who was meant to be picking up Collins, when he should be on the half way line and leave the making to someone more defensive.

Like i said in match thread.
We might has well play Covid at centre forward, which wants to play with everybody, but nobody wants to play with it, while we have a striker ploughing a lone furrow.

How did the 'kneeling' affect the game?

I would start with Ladapo and Vassell. Got to give him a chance.
Don’t think it’s working with Hurst.
I would stop the two winger experiment and bring in Sadlier.
It is so predictable. We cannot even hold a 0-0. You could tell what was going to happen.

    Not good enough.

Oh and now only two in front of Wycombe & Preston won 3-0 at Reading and are next in town on Saturday.
