People have 5 days to report a death in England 8 in Scotland, to that they need an appointment at the Regustrars, if Regustrars are off ill or isolating and they are inundated these things slip. You may get an appointment in another town but if you’re in lock down you can’t go. Deaths by date id death are not accurate till at least 5 days have passed in England.

Just seen the US is hitting 100000 cases a day and over w1000 deaths a day they say it’s entering a new phase where rural communities are also being hit. We had 492 deaths yesterday
It’s kicking off worldwide With highest death rate of 9062 deaths yesterday.
Just glad you aren’t in charge of policy. Lol

I trust nothing that comes out of America, it's all FAKE NEWS!

For a virus that is surprisingly benign it sure is killing an awful lot of people (allegedly).

    You Baron Trump now?
And the rest of the world - people are dying for it!

Using another lockdown to “cure” the virus is worse than contacting the bloody thing. Why punish the majority of the population when only a minutely small percentage are at risk of dying from the corona virus? Life is for living not being placed under house arrest by an authoritative, coercive state apparatus.
While Pritti Patel threatens us all with more policing, irreparable damage is being done to the economy and another lockdown will have a significant impact on all of our lives. The regional tiers system was not been given enough time to work. Liverpool, which had been subject to tier 3 measures, has seen cases halved. Why not see if the “local lockdowns” continue to work before imposing such draconian measures?

I agree with the philosophy, and that’s what Nicola has done here, though her motives are to be different from England so she gets 30 mins unopposed every day to talk to us about independence and wanting more money from Westminster and nit pick when they offer it. She wants power to borrow money. Not sure who would lend given the deficit the country has.
Sadly all this is working and independence is now quite likely if she can get a referendum.
The only hope is she’s found to have lied to Parliament over Alex Salmond indiscretions and has to resign. Using COVID she’s cleverly keeping the inquiry out of the news.

Yes I realise that OC, I check them on a daily basis and when quoting them on here always allow for that. After the time lag though they are accurate, they tell you exactly how many died on that specific date. The death by date reported figures are never an accurate indication of date of death, they can't be, they're not meant to be, they fluctuate enormously following a weekend, but that doesn't stop disingenuous politicians and journos using them to mislead us, which is why I never trust anything they say, and why it was disappointing to find 59/60 pulling the same stunt on here, I really did believe he was better than that.

Our all on board the gravy train MPs, backed the lockdown restrictions with a majority of 478. Shameful, it really is.

She has done better than Boris on COVID but the Indy obsession at every opportunity drives me round the bend, her Undermining Brexit with the EU and the secret society where they don’t provide evidence or lost it and civil servants have memory failure smacks of Soviet Society. The Scottish Nasty Party target those who speak against them and the hardliners hate the English. So no I’m not.

No we didn't, that's FAKE NEWS, the same lie Starmer used at PMQs. The number of deaths for yesterday won't be known for a day or two yet, but it won't be even close to that figure, which is the number of deaths reported yesterday, not the number who actually died.
