Kind of agree. Both wingers look threatening, get involved in good midfield passing movements but when it comes to the final ball, it rarely finds a Millers head. Usually first man or blocked. Oh for Lamy eh?

Very disappointed with the outcome but not surprised, we didn’t take our chances.

Frustrating to say the least but we played well for an hour, and I dont think we've given Luton enough credit for that 2nd half display because they were relentless at hunting down the ball when they lost it, and getting forward quickly when winning it back, which was what we have done to some teams in recent seasons.
Speed, Strength, Desire, all of those they had in bucketfulls ,but we learn (Hopefully) and move on.

What Luton did, so we can't do that then?

No we can't because we are stuck in the 4-5-1 groove. Players are subbed but we stick with the same failing plan

We have done what Luton did in the past even with one up front, the formation is immaterial with regards to hunting down the ball, and we can and do hunt it down in most games but luton played us at our own game.
The other problem we have is that having worked hard to get the ball back, we give it away cheaply and it all starts again, which IMO is one of the reasons we seem to run out of steam a little bit in the last 20 mins

Anyone else think if wiles had carried on running with the lad who scored he would off been in front of him and knocked tge ball out for corner.
. Instead he ran a couple paces stopped and put his hand up for offside

I don't think Luton would have scored that goal if Mattock was playing.

Which is why we need a defensive coach.

Teach them what to do and when to do it
